It's like they've disregarded what it means to be part of a team and cheer for their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is detrimental to the entire school environment.

When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my experience there were quite unique, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reminisce. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same meaning for me as it does for others.
It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that resonates in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I made my passions beyond the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are more focused on specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven.
